LOOX

Loox is a mobile application for booking beauty salons, spas, massages, sports, alternative medicine, and more.
This project consists of a native mobile application developed for iOS and Android , along with a back-office system designed for both Loox partners and the Loox corporate team.

The Mobile Application:

• Takeover of an existing version, source code audit, and complete UI redesign.
• Implementation of scoping meetings & routines using Agile methodology.
• Development of various application screens featuring search systems, filters, and map-based search according to the user’s geolocation.
• Ability to add a salon to favorites.
• Development of a custom calendar for each salon to view availability (days/times) and book open slots.
• Credit card management and payment integration via Stripe.
• Promo code management system.
• Implementation of a referral program.
• Publication on the App Store & Play Store.

The Administrator Back-office:

• A comprehensive dashboard to track key performance indicators: new partners, bookings by category, etc.
• Partner management.
• End-customer management.
• Management and dispatch of marketing push notifications.
• Promo code management.

The Salon Back-office:

• Access to bookings with the ability to manually add new reservations.
• Salon management (adding services offered, setting availability, etc.).
• Access to user ratings & comments following service delivery.
• Access to statistics: bookings, ratings, performance ratings per employee…
• Management of bank details for receiving payments.
• Access to a dedicated database of customers who have booked at their specific salon.

Project Highlights:

• Handling existing code, debugging, and complete UI overhaul.
• Takeover of an existing Symfony codebase for the back-office, including debugging and the development of numerous additional features.
• Implementation of secure payments via the Stripe API.
• Scoping and implementation of a custom commission system.
