Click and Say

This highly useful application provides a communication aid tool designed for children with speech disorders or language delays. The primary objective is to offer children and their families a visual and audible means of communication.

As a React Native agency, we developed this application for iOS & Android (mobile and tablet), ensuring a smooth and consistent experience across all devices.

Key Features of the Application:

Child Mode (the default space once the parent creates an account and logs in):

• Access to a list of expression categories (politeness, etc.); clicking a category leads the child to a screen listing frequent and useful expressions represented by pictograms (hello, good evening, thank you…). These pictograms trigger sounds to help the child communicate with those around them.
• A “Favorites” section to group together the pictograms most frequently used by the child.
• Offline functionality to ensure the app works even without a connection.

Parent Mode:

• All administrative features for the Child Mode are only accessible within the Parent Mode (e.g., reordering pictograms via drag-and-drop within a category).
• Management of relatives (listing and adding relatives…) using pictograms, allowing the child to easily call their mom or dad.

Our Role in this Project:

• Hybrid development with React Native and integration with Firebase for the backend.
• Scoping, production of detailed functional specifications, and mobile application mockups.
• API development in PHP Laravel.
• Publication on the App Store & Play Store.
