Mobile Application Development for the Real Estate Sector

As a mobile development agency specializing in bespoke digital solutions, we developed a comprehensive rental management application. This tool allows property owners to manage their entire real estate portfolio directly from their smartphones. We took over and restructured an existing initial version, and have since provided ongoing corrective and evolutionary maintenance, including major annual upgrades.

Mobile Application Features:

1. Secure owner login to access the property management dashboard.
2. List view of all buildings within the owner’s portfolio.
3. Detailed building overview, including lists of tenants, individual units, and transaction history.
4. Property management tools: Add new units (name, type, room count, area, etc.), record transactions (rent, HOA fees, received amounts, etc.), or register new tenants (contact details and lease information).
5. Tenant management: Generate rent receipts, create legal documents (leases, move-in inspections, late payment reminders), process move-outs, update tenant profiles, and view email history.
6. Unit management: Generate documents (tenant application forms, unfurnished/furnished leases, service charges), edit unit details, and manage photo galleries (upload, list, or delete photos).
7. Performance analytics: Pie chart visualization showing the distribution of income generated per building.
8. “My Account” area to manage current subscription plans.
9. In-app link to the sister application also published by Citruce (Real Estate Rental Yield).

Our Role in this Project:

• Scoping of the project’s functional requirements.
• UI/UX Design: Design of specific screens for iOS and Android, presented via Invision for client feedback and approval.
• Native mobile development using Android (Java) and iOS (Swift).
• Technical feedback and optimization of the client’s internal API.
• Integration of the MixPanel SDK for advanced push notification management.
