Through this application, Newsmed aimed to digitalize its services and encourage mobile app usage to gradually replace its traditional print magazine.
Le Moniteur des Pharmacies is a comprehensive application featuring a significant number of screens and complex workflows.
Developed Features:
- Access to pharmacy-related news with social sharing capabilities.
- Integration of the Milibris SDK, enabling a structured and high-quality digital reading experience for the magazine.
- A complete section dedicated to pharmacy jobs and business transactions:
- Search functionality for job offers and pharmacy sales.
- Ability to apply for jobs or respond to pharmacy sales listings directly.
- For job applications: functionality to create a CV and cover letter, and attach them to applications within the mobile app.
- “Save to Favorites” feature for listings.
- Dedicated Job Center with recruiter and candidate sub-spaces, featuring push alert configuration for matching roles and listing management.
- Dedicated Transaction Center with buyer and seller sub-spaces, including listing management and push notification systems.
- In-app polling and surveys.
- Video section, medication guide, expert advice section, and professional training tracking.
- Preference center for managing push notifications and newsletters.
Our Role in this Project:
- Scoping of the project’s functional requirements.
- Application Design and UI presentation via Invision to gather client feedback and validation.
- API development and integration with the proprietary BackBee CMS (Symfony 2 / Doctrine).
- Hybrid development of the iOS & Android mobile application (phone & tablet) using Appcelerator Titanium.
- App publishing and management on the App Store and Google Play.
Key Project Highlights:
- Project team organization was critical, as the application involves approximately 100 different screens.
- Adaptive UI design to ensure an optimal display on both smartphones and tablets.
- Integration of the Milibris SDK (e-reader) and SmartAdServer SDK (ad network), which are only available natively, by developing a custom native-to-Titanium bridge.
