Amnir Application

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) approached Aventique for the development of an Android mobile application dedicated to classified ads for products and services. Designed to simplify the daily lives of Sahrawi refugees (at the Algerian-Moroccan border), the application is available in Arabic and Spanish.

Mobile Application Features:

• Standard features such as traditional login, Facebook login, password recovery, and registration are included.
  We recommended that login or registration not be mandatory for browsing or searching ads, but required only when publishing a new listing.
• The main screen features category tabs at the top to display featured ads immediately upon opening the app.
• Selecting a category displays a list of ads with integrated geolocation for sorting and proximity-based results.
• Ad detail screens provide all necessary information (location, photos, email and phone contact details with clear call-to-actions). For the V1, messaging and social sharing were omitted in favor of direct contact via email or phone.
• Advanced search functionality with specific filters is implemented.
• Ad publishing process: Users select a category, which then displays a dynamic form tailored to the chosen type (product or service).
  A specific QR code / barcode system is required to publish an ad. These codes are generated via the back-office and assigned to the user (following a payment/validation process).
• Personal dashboard for users to manage their listings, allowing them to edit or cancel publications.
• Profile management and in-app rating features.
• Automated email notifications for ad validation and other key system events.

The mobile app is a native Android application.

Administration Interface:

The back-office provides administrators with the following management tools:

• User management and registration validation.
• Ad moderation: Access to lists and details to validate or remove listings.
• QR code management for the pre-paid ad publication system.

Our Role in this Project:

• Native mobile development using Kotlin and back-office development using PHP Laravel.
• Project scoping, detailed functional specifications, and mobile application mockups.
• Publication on the Google Play Store.
