A video-based classifieds mobile application inspired by the user experience of platforms like Snapchat and Instagram. This application was developed using Appcelerator Titanium for both iOS & Android. The following features were implemented:

• Video-based classifieds feed with auto-play for the first video and instant full-screen playback upon clicking an ad, following the Snapchat model.
• Advanced filtering system, keyword search, and category selection.
• Instant messaging to contact sellers, exchange information, and report suspicious listings.
• Like and favorites system for ads.
• Listing creation process similar to Snapchat Stories: users record a video of the item for sale first, then add descriptive text overlays.
• Account creation via traditional email or Facebook Login, with secure login and password recovery features.
• “My Account” screens to view or edit personal information and manage active listings (mark as sold, edit, or remove).
• Customizable push notifications allowing users to opt-in for specific alerts (new messages, liked items sold, liked items relisted, etc.).
• Implementation of Analytics tracking to understand application usage and analyze user journeys.

Our role in this project:

• Hybrid mobile development using Appcelerator Titanium.
• Project scoping, production of detailed functional specifications, and application mockups.
• Backend API development using PHP Laravel.
• Publication on the App Store & Google Play Store.

Project Highlights:

• Performance optimization for the video feed and the instant transition to full-screen video playback.
• Implementation of complex business logic for the search filtering system.
